Ethics And Security
The CAPSTONE PLAN is an online counseling service. It
involves the communication of personal information in cyberspace.
Once you as a client send some information, you have given up total
control of it. It is not possible for either you or the
coach/counselor to ensure total security of a transmission or
reception. Therefore it is imperative that both take steps to
minimize faults and errors, in order to avoid security exploitation
by outsiders.
The quality of security protection depends to considerable extent
on steps taken, which can range from most to least stringent forms of
protection. To protect transmissions wholly would require a system
involving costly encryption; at the other extreme the system could
include no safeguards at all. Capstone Careers urges you to accept a
moderate system to minimize the vulnerability of transmissions while
reducing costs. Regretfully, if you cannot accept this condition of
security as adequate protection. or cannot participate in ensuring
that it works, it will not be possible to assist you as a client.
The Capstone Plan: Security

prove harmful to yourself. You are to send only what relates in a
